1/8 Scale Pvc Limited figure from Wave, this is the Nyu figure with special components from a special “Extras pack” which include hair and face for Lucy (seen below) and hair with Tie ribbon for Nana. The figures are quite rare having sold out in one week of release Jan 2008. I am quite fortunate to have gotten both figures in the set and the special extras pack so late on after release.

This figure was purchased as part of a two figure set (the second figure being Nana). I actually got them both after the pre-order was over in Feb 08 on Ebay. needless to say it was a very expensive purchase as Elfen Lied merchendise is so rare.
I have not seen the set available recently on Ebay but at the time I was bidding 3-4 sets were appearing, if you are very lucky they may become available again on Ebay but the prices may be even more inflated due to increased rarity.

your are really really REALLY lucky i always wanted that figure cause i love ELFEN LIED i will even pay a million dollars to HOLD it i am waiting for be nippon.com to have that its $70 -$80 but they had sold out and when i go in again they are sold out but i will get those figures I WILL HA HA HA HA HA HA 0.o HA HA HA.
When I first found out about this figure, Be-Nippon was one of my first ports of call, I am still keeping my eyes open for second hands turning up on ebay and will most likely post any finds on my blog for people still interested.
There are a lot of Elfen Lied fans who missed out purely on how limited this figure run is so anything I find I will make sure my blog readers know about
i dint know if it was a diferent figure but ive seen a nyu version of this si is it life you clip on a face or something or is it a different doll?
As far as I am aware, these are the only Elfen lied figures to be produced. Wave released this with a additional bonus pack which includes Lucy’s face. The face does infact come off on both figures allowing you to add the Lucy face or different hairstyle.
Damn, i scrolled through the “Elfen Lied” search results on ebay.com today (actually I’m from Europe), and suddenly I read “1/8″ and “WAVE” there, it was like instant adrenaline flash rofl. And yes, there they were, mint condition, unopened, full package. I had to fight for 15 minutes with myself to be able to pay that ENORMOUS price, but god dammit, this chances don’t come too often i guess! I’ll just cut my PC hardware expenses, for this is so much better:

Compared to what the figures cost me, setting up the custom display boxes and the lighting wasn’t too much, really pays off to present the figures a bit better.
Still very happy that I was so lucky to accidentally stumble across Lucy/Nyu & Nana on eBay! Haven’t seen any similar auctions since then..

Starting “pretty low” at $400. Just don’t forget about customs, this is from Japan again!! The boxes are not unopened, hence the lower price I guess. Should be almost mint condition though as far as one can tell from the pictures and seller’s info.

There was an auction 2 months ago for nana and lucy figures and I bidded on it but lost, in the end it went for 530 dollars. =/ I didn’t give up though, and today I saw ” Elfen Lied Nyu & Nana with bonus parts 1/8 Wave + Goods” going for 830 dollars. I’ve been saving up for them for a very long time so i was willing to pay that money. I can’t wait for them to arrive!

I haven’t seen one turn up for a while on ebay and its killing me!!!!…so if anyone knows any other sites i should look at to try and find one please let me knowwwwwwwwwwww!
Considering how old these figures are, I would expect that most who purchased for re-sale would have sold their extras
Might be worth looking around some figure conventions for them.
I would still say, that eBay is the best way to go. After I’ve bought my figures I’ve seen three or four more auctions on eBay.com, usually it’s just a matter of waiting for a few months. Of course, you have to check regularily, so you can’t miss any auction.
The lowest price I’ve seen on eBay btw. was around $550 if I remember correctly, for the unsealed boxes with bonus parts. In the EU you can add 20% customs tax to that.
I’m pretty confident another set will show up in the next 3 or so months. Of course you can never know, but it’s worth keeping an eye on eBay definitely.

I still keep tabs on Elfen Lied figs selling through ebay and its been a fairly dry season. Who knows, next years figure conventions may bring some unexpected surprises!
