One of the best aspects of collecting Anime figures or any figure infact is the want to share with others. While having a collection behind glass is great for close friends and family, it does not really capture the lure of figure collecting. Photography is the best chance for collector artists to express why they spent ‘X’ amount on a piece of scantily clad pvc toy. While there are many professional photographers, there are many more amateurs like myself who have never taken the concept of photography outside of holiday photos. This page is all about how I tackle photography and the steps I take to improve my knowledge of the mechanics of photography. Part personal diary/tutorials, readers will have the opportunity to see (and advise through comments) me go from basic photography to (hopefully) truly dynamic and artistic photos that best express the qualities of Anime figure collecting.
