Big update for this week as lots of different things from my many hobbies have/are scheduled to arrive today. Lots of these things were early pre-orders and others just random purchases such as the wargaming miniatures.
*On the Anime figure front, Yagyu Jubei and Risty are out for delivery so hopefully when I get home tonight there will be some nice boxes to open up before I go out for the night.
*Warmachine MKII items arriving by the end of this week in the form of the following:
-Warmachine Prime MKII Hardback
-2xKhador Juggernaut/Decimator plastic kit
-Latest issue of No Quarter
While I am focusing less on Wargaming these days, I do have every Khador figure released by Privateer Press and I would like to continue this trend as gaming may pick up over the next few months due to the new figures and rules.
*I am expecting the new Legion of the Damned figures from Games-Workshop this week. As a long time collector (21 years) Legion of the Damned were a very powerful image of Space marine history and the models released over time reflected this very well. They are nice change from the mass-produced plastic Space Marines of the 3rd Edition era and will prove to be a nice painting challenge for me. I am pacing myself with this project and will be picking up the next set of Legion of the Damned models in February.
-Legion of the Damned Boxset (5 models)
-Troopers blister pack 1
-Troopers blister pack 2
-Trooper with Multi-Melta
*Last but not least, Princess Malya from the Soda Pop Miniatures range. I previously reviewed Soda Pop miniatures but will be doing another review as I think ANime figure collectors will find this range quite nice especially if involved in wargames already.
So an eventful and some might say expensive haul for January (when you consider the random Black Rock Shoot purchase!) I will post the haul shot this Sunday once the weekend has died down.
Tomorrow I am out and about town (London) in search for random things to help spruce up my photography. Key on my are two lamps but what i am really interested to look for are weird things like dried leaves and patterned textiles for scenery. Its looking like a busy yet exciting weekend!
