So January is over and I am still blogging about my Anime exploits! a good start to the year I would say😛 It has been really nice meeting more members of the collecting community and I would especially like to thank Lylibellule and Leonia for their continued interest and posts, it’s always nice to read feedback and comments from fellow collectors🙂
As a quick summary. This month had lots of major arrivals, some were pre-orders but most were post release purchases. Chua Churam and Menace (Megahouse version) from Queen’s Blade are the latest to, arriving last week with photos for Chua Churam complete and are awaiting resizing before I post them up (mid-week I hope).Yagyu Jubei (and Dakimakura); which in my opinion will be one of 2010’s hottest series to collect; turned out to be a very charming figure and although it is taking a long time to take the photos I feel it is only right to show how nice this figure truly is. I finally gave in to temptation and bought the much-anticipated Black Rock Shooter, from the Vocaloid series. Now this action sparked a whole wave of Vocaloid fever resulting in at least two major pre-orders (Rin and Miku) as well as a aural addiction to Gravity and Silence.
Improvements have been made to my display cabinets, with the inclusion of lights and dust proofing. Also this month included an article on one of my current bug-bears (and part of a series of future articles) indoor photography light sourcing. Readers may have also noticed some small visual changes on the blog (such as loads of banners!) in a attempt to liven up the blog a little.
Last but not least Queen’s Blade Risty the Desert Picaroon by Megahouse, a highly anticipated pre-order from 2009 is the crowning purchase to have arrived in January. I suggest checking my banner bar for blogs that have already done photo shoots, readers will not be disappointed.
The internet issues are still just that…a issue but resolution (as planned) is set for the end of February which means I can actually post from home, anytime, all the time. I am sure regular readers will agree that this can only be a good thing. I am s
So that was January, and what a busy one it was! However there is no time to rest as it looks like I will be going on holiday in March..for one month, leaving me only February to tie up the loose ends such as photography and collecting articles. On the plus side once I get back I am sure there will be plenty of pre-orders waiting for me to unbox. Photos are on the way but the sheer volume of figures to be photographed is more than I expected so only a few figures will get the special attention that I planned at the start of the month, but needless to pretty things to look at are on the way and soon too🙂
