Greetings all!
My holiday is now coming to a close .T_T. and in terms of shopping fairly successful! Waiting at home is a number of boxes too. Expect photo updates, cd purchases, reviews on the anime and manga books I read/encountered on holiday, and of course the dreaded holiday photos ^_^

A complete blast from the past! Inu Yasha, all 167 episodes and movies. I just could not pass up getting hold of these DVDs. Now of course with all the Anime stuff to watch this will probably mean that by the time I get back from my holiday I will have box eyes.
as regular readers will probably know, my viewing diet has gone up loads and it is all pretty much thanks to Playtech Asia but with 12 discs of pure Inu Yasha to get through of the tv series alone I think my viewing thirst will be sated for a while 😛
One thing to remember about Playtech DVDs, is that almost all of them are region 0! which means you can play them on any DVD player. All technical specifications are on the product page.

Last week I made the decision to complete my Queen’s Blade Rebellion set. This decision was based on the fact that I already had some miscellaneous Rebellion figures which were bought under the premise that they were of the normal Queen’s Blade collection, because of last weeks decision I spent some time last week trying to fill in the gaps of my regular Queen’s Blade set. So below are the Megahouse Queen’s Blade figures I am missing, the mission being to track them down this year and finally be fully up to speed with my the standard collection before moving onto Rebellion.

Aludra is a very interesting character, half demon half human who has won the last two Queen’s Blade tournaments and is the reigning Queen. Aludra is sculpted in a pose similar to Imari but with her right arm cradling a vicious looking blade. No actual messing around with the photos this time, only the addition of text as I wanted the shiny card to do all the work for me, and by doing gives me a better indicator of my photography abilities.

So, I decided that I needed something light and fluffy to watch in the coming weeks. A heady combination of Blassreiter, Dante’s Inferno and Higurashi has left in laughing maniacally at certain things, garnering strange looks from those around me. To counter act this visual malady I have subjected myself to the first DVD of Pani Poni Dash and am about to start watching this strange little comedy Dragon Half.
And what a strange Anime this is! Dragon Half follows the exploits of Mink, a half dragon half human who is trying to cope with the anxiety of growing up…whilst being a half dragon. I am sure that the video above will be more than enough to show readers exactly what I mean.
Today I will be out and about doing some outdoor photo-shoots, what is special about these photos is that it is not a normal Anime figure but a very nice J-Doll. I look forward to sharing the results with all.

It seems that the Iron Princess, despite having the greatest crafted weapons in all of Queen’s Blade is not immune to British Customs and excise. This is only the second time I have been “caught” but that does not make it any less annoying.
"Only Hakufu can save us from the Taxman!"
While I appreciate the need to pay my vat etc what I don’t appreciate is the “excessive” handling fee by Royal Mail/Parcel Force, it seems every vulture needs it’s cut but when the cut starts to exceed the carcass, I call shenanigans.
Sorry, I am just mad because I am suffering Anime figure withdrawal symptoms 😦
